Please navigate to “View profile” and select “edit”. There is a trash icon located in the top right corner that will allow you to remove your account.
What is the benefit of getting an HST number?
If you are looking to getting a house or an investment property, you can show your business income to get approved for a higher mortgage. You can also claim expenses that you incur for providing the goods to clients.
Why do you ask for and HST number and how can I get one?
SporkNMeal is a technology platform that connects home chefs/cooks with customers. The purchase / sell agreement is between the chef and the consumers and we are a mere platform. Since it is a contract between the two parties, chef and the consumers, chefs need an HST or business number to provide services.
Will you ever sell my information to anyone?
SporkNMeal is a technology platform to connect home chefs/cooks with customers. We are NOT IN THE BUSINESS of selling anyone’s private and confidential information to anyone. Rest assured your information will stay safe with us and will never leave our servers.
Why do you ask for a photo ID?
We want to make sure that SporkNMeal is the right platform for all. To ensure security of everyone, we request you upload one piece of any photo id to confirm legitimacy.
I am away on vacation for a week, how do I make sure I do not get orders then?
SporkNMeal offers plenty of options to you to set your time, cuisines, pick up/delivery preferences. You can select the right option from your profile that best meets your needs at any given time
Can I register for only one tier or can I sign up for both Special Items and Cooking Help?
You are free to sign up for one or both tiers based on what you offer.
What is the difference between Special Items and Cooking Help tier?
You can register for Special items if you are in the business of selling specialty items like cakes, cookies, bread etc. You can register for the Cooking help tier, if you visit consumer’s home to help them with their cooking needs.
Do I have to pay any fee to register as a chef on the S&M platform?
No! Registering on the SporkNMeal platform is completely free. We do not charge any monthly or even one time fee for registering on the app.
Can I join your platform as a provider?
Yes, you can register yourself as a provider or a customer on the app.
What forms of Payments do you accept?
All payments are made with either Visa, MasterCard or American Express only. Your service is paid for at the time of booking. All payments are processed using a secure, SSL-encrypted, PCI-compliant system for maximum security.
Can I cancel or reschedule an order?
Each service provider on our platform has a cut off time after which the order cannot be modified or cancelled. You are free to make changes before that.
